OUT in the Outdoors is postponed until summer 2023
(Due to our loss of venue and subsequent loss of sponsors less than a month away.)
We are still committed to getting more queer butts outside. Sign up for our newsletter to keep in touch.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
General
Is there an age limit?
This is a family-friendly event so we welcome you regardless of age. But this is also a queer and sex-positive event - there will be discussions of issues around LGBTQIA+ rights and performances that may hint at sexuality. Please use discretion if you're a highly sensitive parent.
There are some workshops like energy healing and massage workshops that take place in a closed tent and we recommend attendees are 18+ in age or mindset.
Will there be food?
Yes, there will be food vendors at the main location. Please bring your own breakfast, snacks, and water for the morning activites.
Can I camp?
With our venue change, we no longer have camping available :( boooo. But there are plenty of camping options around the town of New Paltz that are beautiful.
How Do I Attend the Activity
Do I need to reserve a spot?
Yes, space is limited for each activity. After you buy your ticket, use this link to reserve a spot: https://reg.rainfocus.com/flow/superdive/outinoutdoors/registrationOITO/page/attdash?tab.day=20220730
A couple of days before the event, you will get an email to download our event app. You can use this app to make changes, check out the exhibitors and more.
Why can't I book some of the activities?
Some of the activities like scuba, rock climbing, and hiking happen at the same time. In order to have the right count of people, we are only allowing you to book one activity happening at that time.
Can I change my mind and book another activity?
Yes, you can go to the link: https://reg.rainfocus.com/flow/superdive/outinoutdoors/registrationOITO/page/attdash?tab.day=20220730 and remove the activity from your schedule and add the other activity into your schedule. Some activities have caps in capacity so they may become full. We recommend you make your schedule early.
How will the instructors know I am in the schedule?
We sent you a QR code with registration. The instructor will scan you in when you check-in for each activity.
How To Get There
What is the best way to get there?
We suggest you come by car. There aren't many public transportation options, unfortunately. And many of our morning activities are happening off-site.
Do you have a car pool program?
We encourage you to post on our facebook page to find carpool partners: https://www.facebook.com/events/799232967723127/?ref=newsfeed
